This trip incorporates the highlights of the town of Slow Town Akyaka, plus travelling further along a breathtaking coastal road to show you the beautiful village of Akbuk where tourists seldom go.

We will pick you up from your accommodation at 8.00am in our air conditioned mini bus and our first stop, after a short drive, will be our breakfast stop at Akyaka. At this luxurious restaurant you will sit beside the stunning aquamarine river, watching wildlife such as ducks and geese. Here you will enjoy a sumptuous and delicious Turkish breakfast. Your table will be laden with a large variety of rich traditional dishes.

We then drive just 5 minutes to Akyaka harbour.  Here we will ride along the stunning Azmak River (Aquarium River) in our private boat. Here you will see crystal clear water in a kaleidoscope of colours, filled with a huge menagerie of fish and plants.  It is so clear that even at the deepest point of 10 metres you will feel you can reach down and touch them.

After our boat trip, we will wander around the town which has beautiful typical Ula houses. This town will just take your breath away.  Half way round will serve you delicious homemade icecream, made by local people.

Next we will drive to Akbuk. The drive to Akbuk will take about 45 minutes along the stunning mountain roads showcasing breath taking scenery, perfect for unique photographic opportunities. When we arrive at the beach of this beautiful fishing town we will relax and swim whilst we enjoy our complimentary light lunch.

Around 4pm we will drive back to Akyaka to one of the most beautiful hotels just by the sea to swim from the private jetty of the hotel. You also can get cold drinks to cool down. Around 6pm you will be invited to our beautiful table to enjoy our awesome dinner, which will be a main course plus a plentiful variety of tasty mezes and salads. Whilst watching the beautiful scenery from this private jetty, we will share good company and talk to each other about our lovely day.  We assure you that this day will be an unforgettable one.

Volkan adventures, yet again you have surpassed yourselves. The day was fun and packed full of new experiences. Breakfast was taken in a superb location and more food than you can imagine. Definitely lives up to the adage feast like a king at breakfast time. Then onto the short river cruise, taking in amazingly clear views of the river bottom with all its myriad of colours and water life. A short walk was taken through Akyaka to meet up with the minibus. A very picturesque village with houses in Ottoman style. Then onto the beach for some rest and relaxation with warm shallow waters. Lunch was just a snack, if that’s what you can call half a loaf filled to the brim with your chosen filling. Then back to the opposite end of Akyaka for another swim opportunity or relaxation, followed by a superb meal sitting on the jetty surrounded by the most amazing back drop. Huge thanks have to go to Murat our genial host/guide who was ever attendant to the needs of his guests/clients.

We absolutely loved this trip in august 2020 and especially the variety of things on offer. The food was incredible from start to finish and we had torrential rain just before dinner but it added to the atmosphere, especially when the rainbow appeared.I would have liked more time in Akyaka as there were some superb shops and streets there but then we had so much else to see!!! Just do it…..
