Every Friday, the town of Ortaca transforms into a vibrant hub of colors, scents, and local traditions. In our opinion, Ortaca Market is the most authentic, least touristic, and most richly diverse market in the entire region. This isn’t a “made-for-tourists” bazaar; it is a large, sprawling experience where you’ll see Turkish families doing their weekly shop.

After the buzz of the market, we retreat to the coast of Sarigerme to visit SARÇED. This award-winning beach park is a local treasure—perfectly designed to offer both Mediterranean luxury and natural shade. Whether you want to try world-class water sports or simply lounge under a pine tree with a cold drink, this is the ultimate Friday vibe.

What is SARÇED? 🌳

SARÇED (Sarıgerme Environment Education Association) is a beautifully maintained, eco-friendly beach park. Unlike standard beaches, it is a landscaped area used primarily by local Turks. It features:

• 🏖️ Blue Flag Beach: Crystal clear waters and fine golden sand.

• 🌲 Natural Shade: Extensive grassy areas with trees, perfect for escaping the midday sun.

• 🐾 Mini Zoo & Gardens: A lovely area for a stroll to see local birds and animals.

The Itinerary

10:30 – Departure from Dalyan A convenient mid-morning start in our comfortable, air-conditioned bus as we head to the nearby bustling town of Ortaca.

11:00 – Ortaca Market & Local Exploration Step into a world of genuine Turkish culture. Your guide will provide you with a map and tips on the best stalls for local spices, mountain herbs, and traditional textiles.

• The Foodie Experience: The area surrounding the market is a food lover’s paradise. You’ll find everything from authentic street food to tiny fishmongers with just 1 or 2 tables where you can eat the freshest catch. There are also charming local cafes and “esnaf” restaurants serving honest, delicious Turkish meals at local prices. We provide the map; you provide the appetite!

13:30 – Transfer to Sarigerme A short, scenic drive takes us from the busy market to the tranquil, award-winning SARÇED beach park.

14:00 – Beach Bliss & Water Sports The afternoon is yours to enjoy SARÇED. Relax under the trees, explore the mini-zoo, or take a dip in the pristine sea.

• Adventure: Visit our friend’s professional water sports facility. From Kite Surfing and Sea Kayaking to the latest Electric SUP boards, there’s something for every thrill-seeker (Optional & Extra).

17:00 – Heading Home We depart from the coast as the afternoon heat fades, arriving back in Dalyan around 17:30.
