Sedir Island & Cleopatra Beach:

Our adventure begins with a comfortable pick-up from your accommodation between 9.00 am and 9.30 am. We’ll travel in our air-conditioned minibus to Çamlı Village, a tranquil haven on the Gökova Gulf. Here, a stream called “azmak” flows, setting the stage for a scenic boat trip to Sedir Island, known for the ancient city of Kedrai and its extraordinary Cleopatra Beach.

Cleopatra Island Highlights:

– Explore the ancient city of Kedrai, witnessing the remains of the temple of Apollo and the city necropolis.
– Immerse yourself in the legend of Cleopatra Beach, renowned for its unique sands brought from Egypt by Mark Antony as a gift to Cleopatra.
– Enjoy a couple of hours exploring the island’s rich history and stunning coastline.

After the exploration, a short boat ride will bring us back to Çamlı Village.

Çamlı Village:

Nestled among olive trees, Çamlı Village beckons with its authentic local flavors. After a day of discovery, indulge in a satisfying lunch at one of the local restaurants offering a variety of traditional dishes. From fresh seafood to mouthwatering meat dishes, the menu caters to all tastes, including specialties like Çamlı köfte (meatballs) or gözleme (thin dough filled with various ingredients).

Post-Lunch Stroll:

Take a leisurely stroll through the village, discovering small shops selling local products. It’s an opportunity to support local businesses and find unique souvenirs while enjoying the tranquility of the countryside.

Following the charm of Çamlı Village, we’ll continue our journey to Akyaka, a picturesque town on the Gökova Gulf.

Akyaka:

Known for its Ottoman-style architecture and stunning landscapes, Akyaka provides a perfect setting for our private boat ride along the Azmak River (Aquarium River). Marvel at the crystal-clear water teeming with fish and plants, creating a kaleidoscope of colors. Enjoy free time in the town center, dotted with Ottoman-style houses, charming bars, and restaurants, offering a chance to unwind or indulge in some boutique shopping.

Return Journey:

As the day comes to a close, we’ll embark on a 45-minute journey back to Dalyan, arriving around 6.30 pm to 7.00 pm.
